Lantic View is a very nice bright airy apartment . Very nicely decorated in a neutral pallet throughout. Its not for the faint hearted, as there are many steps up from the road, its nice to be able walk into town, and enjoy the many nice shops , pubs and restaurants Fowey has to offer. We did think the seating in the lounge could be improved as it Read morewasnt to comfy! But we enjoyed our family gathering there very much. We had 1 issue while there which was dealt with quickly by the owner. Hide

We had a fabulous week and loved the property. The views are amazing, hard to beat, and we made full use of the window seat, spending hours watching the boats go by. The location was great with a small walk into town. and the bonus of a parking spot. The property is well equipped, especially the kitchen, with everything you need and is bright and aRead moreiry. Just be aware, if steps arent your thing, there are quite a few from the car to the property. That said, we would definitely recommend. Hide

Great location with magnificent views. Excellent facilities and lots of space. Well presented and highly recommended, comfortable luxury accommodation. Access steps not for the faint hearted but give you plenty of exercise but alternative ramp access in part. Short walk into town centre which has lots to offer.

Loved the property and decor; It was clean and spacious. Waking up to that sea view was the best thing out of the whole experience. The area and people were so nice it made me feel at ease coming to a different part of the UK.

The ancient fishing village of Polruan lies just across the river from the delightful civil parish of Fowey, a bustling picturesque town packed with quirky coastal shops, art galleries and restaurants. Surrounded by some of the region’s most enchanting countryside, this pair of Cornish cousins have a truly magical feel about them. Polruan, with its steep hill and charming cottages looking down over the pretty harbour, and Fowey with its timeless maritime charm, are linked together by the Fowey Estuary, a haven of colourful sailing and fishing boats dotted about on the water.

A short drive away are the nearby harbours of East and West Looe with their quayside restaurants, sandy beaches and wildlife boat trips. The village of Polperro, with its fascinating smuggling history and horse pulled tram is a must-see and Charlestown, with its huge square sail ships is famously known as the key filming location for the hit TV series, Poldark. Children will love winding their way through the scenic coastal landscape with the Bodmin and Wenford Railway and for those brave enough, there is ample opportunity to hunt down the mysterious beast of Bodmin Moor.

The beautiful capital town of Truro with its magnificent cathedral and wide boulevards is just over an hour away by car and the newly redeveloped St Austell, home to the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan can be reached within forty-five minutes. Surrounded by gorgeous countryside and nature reserves, lakes and rivers, the area boasts some of the best sailing and watersports in the UK. If you are looking for somewhere remote and unspoilt, but with lots to keep you busy, Polruan is the perfect choice.
