Tean Cottage is a 4 bedroom cottage offering flexible accommodation for all the family. The cottage is spread over 3 levels in the beautiful fishing village of Polruan. It has recently been updated to a high standard creating a stylish, yet homely feel, the minute you walk through the door. Offering a sizeable open plan dining/living space along with a large well equipped kitchen downstairs. With bedrooms upstairs, which includes a spacious attic room ideal for children (or little pirates) and 2 good size bathrooms on the middle floor.
Tean has the added advantage of a large rear garden with views over the village and estuary, a parking space for 1 car which can be accessed via School Lane.
Open plan Lounge/Diner 2 sofas, 2 arm chairs and foot stool, large book shelf, night stand, TV, DVD and wood burner. There is also a large dining table with seating for 8 and additional side table.
Kitchen- The kitchen is well equipped with electric range oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and Fridge/Freezer. (Washer/dryer- in outhouse to the side of the house) Dining table with seating for 4- 5 guests
Bedroom 1 Double 5'6 bedroom with 2 bedside tables, dressing table with stool, TV, chest of draws and wardrobe. This bedroom also has views down Fore Street towards the water.
Shower room- Shower, WC, hand basin with mirror and storage rack to the side
Bedroom 2- Double (5'6) bedroom with 1 bedside table, wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table complete with mirror.
Bedroom 3- Twin bedroom (3') with 1 bedside table, chest of draws, Hifi/ CD player and small hanging space above the beds
Bathroom - Bath with separate shower, WC, hand basin with mirror, towel rack and storage cabinet.
2ND FLOOR- Attic Room
Bedroom 4- Light and airy twin room (3') with 1 bed side table and chest of draws. To the right of the staircase there is additional eaves space (restricted head space) ideal for a play area or suitcase storage. There is also a stairgate at the top of the stairs.
GARDEN AND OUTSIDE SPACE A large lawn garden and raised decking area with views across the village and harbour to Fowey. The side outhouse accommodates a WC, washing machine and has ample space for storage / drying of wetsuits etc. In the garden there is also an outside table and chairs. To the front of the house there is a small seating area, with views down Fore Street towards the river.
PARKING- Private Parking available for 1 Car to the rear of the cottage at the top of garden. Additional parking is available at the St Savours 300yds from the cottage. A weekly ticket can be purchased at the carpark for £25.00. You are able to unload the car at the front of the cottage.

POWER AND HEATING- Electricity and Heating included in the rental price. Heating by oil central heating, the boiler is located in the kitchen. There is also a wood burner in lounge.
PET FRIENDLY- YES, Up to two dogs accepted with prior permission. £25 per dog per booking.
BEDDING AND TOWELS- Bed Linen and Towels are provided. You will need to bring your own beach towels.
NOTES- Sleeps 8, No smoking, inside the property the attic bedroom steps are quite steep which may not be suitable for younger children (under 3) or the elderly. The head height in parts of the attic is restricted. Please note the access to the parking area and garden is on a gentle slope leading to 5 slate steps. Please take care in wet weather as theses can become slippery. WIFI available, Mobile reception varies depending on the service provider.
