Rose Villa is tucked away just off Fore Street in Polruan. The 200-year-old cottage has been lovingly renovated to a high standard and provides a chic and quirky seaside stay.
As you enter the cottage on the ground floor you are welcomed into a light and airy bespoke kitchen, equipped with all the mod cons, including a Smeg fridge freezer and crafted oak work tops. There is also a breakfast bench, which is a great space to read your morning paper and eat your Weetabix. The front courtyard is accessed via the kitchen door and offers a private outdoor dining space with views across the village towards the water. In the kitchen there is a staircase which leads to the first floor.
From the kitchen, you step into a spacious open plan sitting room and dining area. Which has been beautifully designed with exposed beams and contemporary yet traditional light fittings over the dining table which really gives this room the WOW factor. At the far end of the room is a bay window which floods the room with light. The sitting room is complete with Smart TV, stylish sofa, arm chair and futon, the space calls out for you to put your feet up. There is also a side door which leads you to another enclosed gravelled garden area with Fire Pit and views over the village.
A further staircase is from the sitting room which leads up to the first floor. On this floor there are 2 bedrooms; 1 double master bedroom, 1 single bedroom and a snug room, which has steep stairs leading to the attic twin room. Also on this level is a stunning bathroom with freestanding bath and separate corner shower. Both first floor bedrooms have views towards the river. The 2nd floor attic bedroom is accessed from the snug, there are some very steep steps up to this bedroom so may not be suitable for younger children or the elderly. Once you reach the attic there are 2 large Velux windows, offering a beautiful view over the river. Due to the exposed ceiling beams head height is minimal which makes it more suitable for children but beware of the steep stairs. RoseVilla can sleep 5 in three bedrooms, however in the snug there is a double sofa bed which may be used for an additional guest.

Parking- No Private Parking available. Parking is available, from the St Savours and Quay car parks around 500yds from the cottage. A luggage drop off point is 20 yds. from the cottage.
Changeover Day: Saturday, but can be flexible out of school holiday periods. Arrival - 4:00pm Departure- 10:00am

Power & Heating: Electricity and Heating included in the rental price. 'Nest' Electric heating system.
Bedding & Towels: Bed Linen and Towels are provided. You will need to bring your own beach towels.
No Smoking, No Pets, there are a number of steps and slopes to the property. Inside the property the doorways are narrow and steps that are steep which may not be suitable for younger children or the elderly.
