We had a very relaxing holiday with many local walks around Polruan and Fowey. The views from the cottage across the bay are fantastic, and the cottage is very well equipped, however, you need to be aware that access to the property is half a mile from the nearest car park which is up a very steep hill, fine if you are mobile and healthy, some neigRead morehbours who were of an older age group did struggle with access to and from their accommodation. But Due to this Polruan has a definite quiet charm Hide

Property in a great location with lovely views to Fowey and harbour. To note please ensure you are able bodied as there are many steps some steep and taking your bags too and from your property was a nightmare . The property could do with some updating although everything was there that was needed.

The cottage was in a beautiful location with lovely views over the estuary. The perfect bolthole for a complete getaway from the world. Really quiet, just the sound of the water lapping and bird song. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you need and there was a lovely welcome pack which was a really thoughtful touch. We loved the logRead more burner as the weather was not good and would have loved to have used the sun terrace which was a lovely spot to sit. Two pubs very close by! Hide

Great cottage, well equipped and comfortable. The service offered to get the bags to and from your cottage at the beginning and end of the stay would be something I would definitely invest in next time, as it is a fair way from the drop off point and there are some beautiful but challenging steps if, like me, you're 74!

Surrounded by some of the region’s most enchanting countryside, this pair of Cornish cousins have a truly magical feel about them. A short drive away are the nearby harbours of East and West Looe with their quayside restaurants, sandy beaches and wildlife boat trips. The village of Polperro, with its fascinating smuggling history and horse pulled tram is a must-see and Charlestown, with its huge square sail ships is famously known as the key filming location for the hit TV series, Poldark.
