This spacious, yet full of character property is the ideal home away from home, perfect for a family holiday or for friends taking a break together.

Perfectly located for touring Cornwall, this detached, cosy cottage is tucked away just off the road in to the heart of Par. Which has 2 pubs, shops and a year-round dog-friendly beach is only a short walk from the property. If you'd rather leave your car at home while you explore the area, the mainline railway station is also a short walk and good bus links are offered to all main attractions. Nearby, the magnificent Eden Project is definitely one to add to the activity list, the giant tropical and Mediterranean biospheres. To experience the unspoilt charm of Cornwall, pull on your walking boots and enjoy the many idyllic picnic spots found in its wild and wonderful coastline, or its beautiful, tranquil countryside.

Enter this delightful property into the hallway, leading through to the lounge. The lounge is the perfect spot to cosy up and watch a film on the TV/DVD and keep warm with the electric fire. The kitchen area is a great place to whip up a three course meal or a light snack, it come equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Once the meal is prepared head through to the dining room which can cater for six people. There is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Once the day is done climb the stairs to the first floor, where you will find 4 bedrooms. There are two double bedrooms over looking the garden, a twin bedroom and a nursery with a cot and changing area. There is also a snug area on the landing, perfect for teenagers with TV, DVD and Playstation.

Outside there is a large enclosed garden ideal for children and dogs to run around and play in, as well as paved sitting area where you can enjoy a glass of something special after the kids are in bed or a family BBQ. Private parking available for up to 3 cars. Outdoor table and chairs are available in the outhouse .

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The ancient fishing village of Polruan lies just across the river from the delightful civil parish of Fowey, a bustling picturesque town packed with quirky coastal shops, art galleries and restaurants. Surrounded by some of the region’s most enchanting countryside, this pair of Cornish cousins have a truly magical feel about them. Polruan, with its steep hill and charming cottages looking down over the pretty harbour, and Fowey with its timeless maritime charm, are linked together by the Fowey Estuary, a haven of colourful sailing and fishing boats dotted about on the water.

A short drive away are the nearby harbours of East and West Looe with their quayside restaurants, sandy beaches and wildlife boat trips. The village of Polperro, with its fascinating smuggling history and horse pulled tram is a must-see and Charlestown, with its huge square sail ships is famously known as the key filming location for the hit TV series, Poldark.
