Great property in excellent location, away from the hustle and bustle of Fowey but still easily accessible. Steep hill may make it difficult for some but it got easier to climb as the week went on.

The property is ideal for a mid size family group with dogs, everything you need is at hand. It is half way up a steep hill, so preparation for dropping off bags and shopping etc. is important, on the other hand it is very easy to get out onto the cliff path with dogs in the morning.

After failing to get into the parking space (we decided to use the car park we had looked up just in case,(St Saviour's 25 cash only for the week) and rewashing plates and cutlery that hadn't been cleaned properly, the holiday could begin! The cottage is lovely and we loved being in Polruan and going across to Fowey on the ferry. We managed some loRead morevely walks from the doorstep and hardly used the car all week. A takeaway from The Lugger Inn was a treat (still coming out of lockdown). Hide

We had a wonderful few days at Tean over Christmas 2020. The cottage was very cosy but spacious and well equipped. The location near the coastal path made it the perfect escape. There were some concerns that it wouldn't feel Christmassy in a rented cottage but we needn't have worried as the tree and decorations were just perfect. We really appreciaRead moreted the wood burner and the views from the coastal path and Lantic Bay are stunning. Hide

This is a really comfortable house which is one of the best equipped I've stayed in (and I am a serial cottage renter). I was recovering from a broken ankle and particularly enjoyed the wealth of books. The views are lovely and the ease of the ferry to Fowey meant we could enjoy the bustle of Fowey but escape back to Polruan at the drop of a hat. We really enjoyed our stay in Tean which was no doubt helped by a week of fabulous weather. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable and we enjoyed sitting out in the garden with its lovely view. The location was perfect for us - close to the coast path (which the dogs enjoyed) and close enough to the centre of the village and the quay.

A well furnished property in the quiet village of Polruan , a short ferry ride from more bustling Fowey. The house is spacious and and would appeal to families, although guests with young children and dogs should be aware the garden is not enclosed, and steep steps up and down may be difficult to negotiate.

Tean Cottage is in an excellent location in heart of Polruan, with lovely views down to the river. Well equipped kitchen with good facilities, but could have been improved by some basic foodstuffs being available such as a pepper pot. Sitting room is comfortable and cosy after a bracing walk along the cliffs. Bathroom door handle and lock needs menRead moreding. You need to note that the bed in the front room is only 3/4 size, so is very snug for a couple. Hide
