Superb location, well equipped kitchen if you want to cater for yourself. Plenty of space for a family to stay with two double rooms and a twin. It can be a little noisy first thing in the morning as you are right in the centre of town so delivery vans and bin lorrys are going about there business. We had a wonderful time and this was the second visit to the property. Although there is no parking next to the property, we were able to off load our cases etc and go to one of the parking suggested by the owner. We would certainly stay there again as it is very convenient.

Perfect holiday house, spotlessly clean, well fitted out. Location couldn't be better - only 50 yards from restaurants, pubs, shopping and the harbour ferry to Polruan.

Our second visit to this amazing property right in the heart of Fowey. Cosy and welcoming, it's perfect for winter evenings and after a walk on the beach. The well stocked kitchen has everything you could need for preping and cooking delicious meals. A comfy main bedroom and ensuite ensure a good nights sleep. All in all a fantastic property.

Delightful 3 bedroom apartment with very comfortable facilities. It was lovely to be able to self-cater whilst being in the heart of Fowey, so close to the water. Off-site car park was no bother at all. Having the bakery downstairs meant delicious breakfasts just a few steps away. Plenty of places to eat out and lovely shops in the town.

The ancient fishing village of Polruan lies just across the river from the delightful civil parish of Fowey, a bustling picturesque town packed with quirky coastal shops, art galleries and restaurants. Surrounded by some of the region’s most enchanting countryside, this pair of Cornish cousins have a truly magical feel about them. Polruan, with its steep hill and charming cottages looking down over the pretty harbour, and Fowey with its timeless maritime charm, are linked together by the Fowey Estuary, a haven of colourful sailing and fishing boats dotted about on the water.

A short drive away are the nearby harbours of East and West Looe with their quayside restaurants, sandy beaches and wildlife boat trips. The village of Polperro, with its fascinating smuggling history and horse pulled tram is a must-see and Charlestown, with its huge square sail ships is famously known as the key filming location for the hit TV series, Poldark. Children will love winding their way through the scenic coastal landscape with the Bodmin and Wenford Railway and for those brave enough, there is ample opportunity to hunt down the mysterious beast of Bodmin Moor.

The beautiful capital town of Truro with its magnificent cathedral and wide boulevards is just over an hour away by car and the newly redeveloped St Austell, home to the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan can be reached within forty-five minutes. Surrounded by gorgeous countryside and nature reserves, lakes and rivers, the area boasts some of the best sailing and watersports in the UK. If you are looking for somewhere remote and unspoilt, but with lots to keep you busy, Polruan is the perfect choice.
