5 star accommodation at the top of a hill. Spectacular views ... from the hot tub ... and sunsets too. The lodge had everything you need for a pleasant stay. Such a peaceful place with gorgeous views over to Arran. We had a mixture of weather from blue skies to driving wind and rains. The pod is amazingly well insulated and even in the high winds was quiet and beautifully warm. The hot tub was hot and clean - just like everything. Girvan is about 10mins down the road with a good sized ASDA/ pharmacy / petrol etc. Hide

Has a fabulous week here, we did a lot of walking which meant the hot tub came in really useful. We visited Loch Doon which had spectacular walks, Culzean castle was worth a visit too. Kelburn castle had some beautiful scenic walks too through the woods and up to the waterfall. The Balkenna tea room in Turnberry does a beautiful breakfast. The RoberRead moret Burns museum was another great visit when the weather turned. Beautiful spot for some rest and relaxation, and watching the sunsets in the hot tub. Hide

Just on the outskirts of Turnberry in a quiet farmers field. Clean and comfortable. Everything we needed from slippers and dressing gown for the hot tub to cleaning materials and salt and pepper, and even a bottle of prosecco on arrival. Great week. No pubs or bars nearby. We enjoyed our stay here, it was nice and quiet with stunning views of the sunrise and sunset. There was a slight problem with flies at night but that couldnt be helped and it is in the middle of nowhere so be prepared for your car to get a bit messy with mud.
