This is a first-rate property - spacious and very well appointed. Malcolm and and Daune made us warmly welcome, with milk, flowers, fruit, and shortbread provided on arrival. We loved the farm and the animals, and the cottage is well placed to explore the many delights of Ayrshire. A wonderfully comfortable bed is an added bonus. The Stick house was a lovely spacious cottage for two. The sunroom will have a lovely view of the Ayrshire coast when the hedge at the end of the garden gets cut - the owner did apologise for how tall it was. It was very handy for the ferry to Arran sailing from Ardrossan where we had a lovely sunny day. It is only a short distance from Culzean CasRead moretle, Dumfries House and Burns country. Hide
