Such a lovely location hidden away from the outside world. Totally relaxing, the owners were lovely and friendly. We would definitely go back to Torfrey Farm.

Great accommodation and great hosts. We had 3 of the cottages and were able to freely go to one and other without issue. The facilities were great for the kids and the on-site bar was a nice touch. Had a Mamma Mia-esque feel to the place. Good location for travelling around Cornwall too. Highly recommend. Very dog friendly too.

The cottage is an excellent place for a holiday and highly recommended, very well equipped, modern and clean. Great location, in a quiet lane. Ideally we would have stayed two weeks. There is a pub nearby serving food and good beer with great river views, it takes around 20 minutes to walk there but the walk back is double due to the very steep roaRead mored. We played table tennis, the other facilities looked good but we didn't use them. In nearby Golant we fished from the riverbank and went kayaking. Hide

Thanks so much for a fabulous stay - our change of dates was kindly accommodated and we appreciated the prosecco when we arrived and the opportunity to interact with the animals and feed the lambs. Linden was a lovely property - very comfortable and the courtyard garden is a real sun trap. It was such a treat to come here after so many months of haRead morerd work through the pandemic. Couldn't have asked for any more than this lovely break to relax and recharge batteries. Hide

We really enjoyed our stay at 'Linden'. The weather was mostly as lousy as one can expect in November. But we didn't really care thanks to the amazing endless pool and the sauna. The house was very clean and the kitchen well equipped. The only thing I'd mention is that the stairs to the bedrooms downstairs are quite steep and not carpeted. So our sRead morelightly arthritic senior dog couldn't manage and had to sleep upstairs in front of the fire (not that he did mind). Hide

The village of Polperro, with its fascinating smuggling history and horse pulled tram is a must-see and Charlestown, with its huge square sail ships is famously known as the key filming location for the hit TV series, Poldark.
