This cottage was delightful. Spacious, airy and bright. The kitchen is great. Loads of room to move around and very well equipped. The owners even provide doggy litter bags! There is a large TV in the lounge with a large number of DVDs to choose from. Given the space and equipment, a winter break would be as enjoyable as in summer. Very steep hill Read moredown to the harbour so need to be fit- but you soon get used to it! Hide

Lovely cottage in a beautiful village. Need to be very fit to get back up the hill so not for the faint hearted or anyone with mobility problems. Cottage is extremely well equipped and a bonus having 3 bathrooms. Luggers Inn at bottom of hill serves excellent food but reserve as gets very busy.

The village of Polperro, with its fascinating smuggling history and horse pulled tram is a must-see and Charlestown, with its huge square sail ships is famously known as the key filming location for the hit TV series, Poldark.
