We loved the location overlooking the harbour and being at the centre of activity around. Still suitably quiet at night. Handy for pubs, the couple of shops and access to coastal path eastwards. Cottage is a good "budget" option, if like us, using it only for sleeping. Good location at the bottom of a very steep hill, no car parking at property car park half a mile away at the top of the hill cost 25 for the week but you can come and go as many times you wise during that week.

Super little place. Ever so slightly shabby with lots of character. Fab location - wandering out into the quay with a cup of coffee in the morning a highlight. The cottage is situated in a lovely location with great views of Polruan harbour and over to Fowey. The cottage is comfortable and clean, although needs improvement in specific areas such as the beds and kitchen equipment. Lovely quaint quayside cottage Very close to two pubs and harbour and boat yard. Could be considered noisy but at the same time very relaxing , ferry to Fowey enjoyable. Quite hilly to walk out of the village but the coastal walk was great fun. And the first view from the main car park was breathtaking. Delightful cottage, full of character, with wonderful views over the harbour and across to Fowey. Polruan has a bakery for fresh bread in the morning and a good grocery shop, and you're right next to the ferry, and bus stop, so it couldn't be more convenient. No outside space, but that didn't matter to us in October!
