Ferry View is a lovely cottage, a lovely master bedroom with very comfortable king size bed, the second room is tiny with bunk beds. The top floor room is where we spent all our time having double aspect windows with window seats overlooking the estuary and Polruan harbour which is beautiful.

We were in two minds whether to do self catering this year, given the C19 situation but very glad we did. House was perfect for us (two adults and 12 year old son) and had everything we needed. It was spotless and looked like it had been recently renovated. Great stay in a great cottage. Polruan was beautiful and much quieter than Fowey. View from the loft living room was stunning.

The cottage is in a brilliant spot in the village but parking is an issue. There are multiple steps to both front and back doors but once unloaded you dont need your car. Car park is a 10 min walk which is very steep. Polruan is perfect for a pint and has a village shop which sticks most thing. The ferry to Fowey is brilliant and Fowey has many barRead mores, shops and restaurants. Lovely walks and views. Hide

A comfortable (in summer at least) property. Kitchen equipped and wood burning stove. The views of the harbour are not apparent and the advert didnt make this clear. Loading and Unloading is a pain but doable. Clive- manager of PO and local parking is a star - very helpful

Lovely cosy cottage ... need to bear in mind that the ferry is required to get to Fowey without a long drive on narrow roads. Parking is a bit tricky!

Lovely cottage. Well positioned for central Polruan i.e. The harbour, the pubs, the two shops, the ferry to Fowey. A keysafe made it very easy to check in and out. Nicely decorated - especially lovely views of river from the gorgeous top room. The ancient fishing village of Polruan lies just across the river from the delightful civil parish of Fowey, a bustling picturesque town packed with quirky coastal shops, art galleries and restaurants. Surrounded by some of the region’s most enchanting countryside, this pair of Cornish cousins have a truly magical feel about them. Polruan, with its steep hill and charming cottages looking down over the pretty harbour, and Fowey with its timeless maritime charm, are linked together by the Fowey Estuary, a haven of colourful sailing and fishing boats dotted about on the water.

A short drive away are the nearby harbours of East and West Looe with their quayside restaurants, sandy beaches and wildlife boat trips. The village of Polperro, with its fascinating smuggling history and horse pulled tram is a must-see and Charlestown, with its huge square sail ships is famously known as the key filming location for the hit TV series, Poldark.
