Blue Tide is a beautifully located, comfortable and well equipped house. The two pubs in the village were very welcoming and the short trip to the stunning Fowey was a pleasure. I would return to Blue Tide in a heart beat and hope to do so in the not too distant future.

Wonderful location with great views over the bay. Price paid reflected that the cottage is in need of decoration (this is an observation, not a complaint).

It was a beautiful cottage very light and nicely furnished but most important it had magnificent views uninterrupted and so quiet no roads to hear. Polruan is such a quaint place full of history and fantastic sea views.

Extremely quirky cottage in excellent location. Loads of space inside with fantastic views. Beds very comfortable and cottage fully equipped. Two pubs, a cafe and the ferry virtually on the door step. Fowey very lovely too and beautiful walks, if a bit hilly in places!

The ancient fishing village of Polruan lies just across the river from the delightful civil parish of Fowey, a bustling picturesque town packed with quirky coastal shops, art galleries and restaurants. Surrounded by some of the region’s most enchanting countryside, this pair of Cornish cousins have a truly magical feel about them. A short drive away are the nearby harbours of East and West Looe with their quayside restaurants, sandy beaches and wildlife boat trips. The village of Polperro, with its fascinating smuggling history and horse pulled tram is a must-see and Charlestown, with its huge square sail ships is famously known as the key filming location for the hit TV series, Poldark. Children will love winding their way through the scenic coastal landscape with the Bodmin and Wenford Railway and for those brave enough, there is ample opportunity to hunt down the mysterious beast of Bodmin Moor.
