Overlooking Fowey Harbour, this stunning home offers flexible accommodation that meets all the demands of multigeneration families or large groups of friends. There’s space to be quiet or come together. It’s great for children, dog friendly yet mindfully accessible for those less mobile. Breathe in the sea air and soak in the calm! Within a few minutes’ walk there are two pubs, a tearoom, bakery, local shop and harbour quay. Polruan has two small beaches, ancient monuments and access to the SW coastal path leading to beautiful Lantic Bay beach and beyond. Walkers will also love the famous Hall Walk along the wooded estuary path to Fowey via Bodinnick. Or take the 10-minute passenger ferry over from Polruan quay. Fowey has a range of top-notch restaurants, independent shops and art galleries as well as activities such as kayaking and boat hire. Within 15 miles you will discover places such as The Eden Project, Lanhydrock House, Looe, Charlestown and Polperro.

The welcoming entrance hall with herring bone limestone tiles is both beautiful and practical. There’s plenty of space for shoes and coats plus a utility room and washroom. The garage, accessed from here, boasts a table tennis table and dart board for anyone up for a game or separate hang out spot. Upstairs you will find the open-plan kitchen/dining area complete with two comfy sofas and a Smart TV. Large sliding glass doors can be opened wide to connect with the outside terrace and let the sea breezes in whilst enjoying the fantastic views over to Fowey. The well-equipped kitchen means you have everything needed to cook up a fabulous meal or pack up a tasty lunch for the day ahead. Stools at the breakfast bar add to making this a sociable area and the whitewashed coastal dining table is the perfect place to enjoy time together lingering over delicious food or playing a game. For others the sofas provide a corner to hide away or watch a favourite movie. Across the hallway are two super-king size bedrooms. The main bedroom is flooded with natural light and has wonderful views across the garden to Fowey. It is set up with accessibility in mind and has a walk in wet room shower. The other bedroom on this floor has a versatile zip and link super king bed with beachy headboard and an ensuite shower room. Heading upstairs, the top floor doesn't disappoint. The vast sliding glass doors and elevated harbour views from the living room are spectacular and the balcony is a wonderful place to watch the summer sun set or have cocktails from the in-built bar. For quieter times, there is a chaise lounge to retreat with a book as well as a wood burner offering occasions to cosy in on wintery days. Completing this floor are another three super-king size bedrooms. One has elevated views over to Fowey and en-suite shower room with double vanity. The other two have versatile zip and link beds with oversized beachy headboards and use the family bathroom decorated with a tropical holiday feel.

Outside is a gorgeous, landscaped garden with secure lawn and patio seating area – perfectly set up for BBQs and dining alfresco. The wood fired hot tub nearby ensures a truly relaxed holiday!

The Pilot house in Polruan is a fantastic place to stay in Polruan, just a short ferry trip over to Fowey. The house is stunning. It comprises of three levels, with the top level containing a lounge and balcony with stunning views across the river to Fowey. The children loved the hot tub, dart board, and table tennis.
