Polruan, a 2-mile walk, offers a couple of great pubs for enjoying a Cornish lunch overlooking the harbour or a cream tea in the local cafe. Here you can take the passenger ferry and venture across to Fowey with its quaint streets full of boutique shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, and take lunch on its quay overlooking the spectacular harbour. Further attractions include the Eden Project (13 miles), The Shipwreck Centre (15 miles) and the Lost Gardens of Heligan (21.5 miles).

This reverse-living cottage makes the most of the countryside views by offering an open-plan lounge/diner which offers cosy seating for you to retreat to after a long day. Put your feet up in front of the wood burner whilst watching all your favourite programs. The kitchen is fully equipped, allowing you to pack up a good lunch or cook an evening meal after a day lazing by the pool. The main bathroom is just off the dining area on the first floor. The two bedrooms are placed downstairs on the ground floor and offer a king-size bedroom with a dressing table and TV for you to enjoy, whilst next door is a twin bedroom (can be made into a super-king on request) with a TV. Both have access to the handy Jack and Jill en-suite WC.
