The location of the cottage meant views of the river were excellent but accessibility was limited. There is no parking except to load/ unload and the extremely steep hill to the car park would be unsuitable for those with mobility issues. We love boats and enjoyed watching all the activity on the water. A busy boatyard right in front of the cottageRead more began work about 8 each morning and could be noisy. The local shop and pubs had everything needed but the owners had supplied all the essentials. Hide

The location of the cottage is fantastic, for the views, convenience to the shop, cafe, pubs, ferry and Polruan bus stop. Really good location. As with most seaside towns you have to park up a hill, away from the property but once parked there, there is plenty you can do without needing your car. The local bakery, cafe and two pubs are a great addition and the regular boat to Fowey for more amenities is great.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location is fantastic, with incredible views right outside of the front door. Lovely relaxing stay during a indian summer.. Daily commute on ferry to Fowey a highlight especially when collecting fudge from Roly's fudge factory. Great place to start walks from, Lantic Bay, Gribbin head and the walk to Fowey and back via Car ferry following a sunday lunch(Hall walk) are all recommended.
