The location of the cottage is fantastic, for the views, convenience to the shop, cafe, pubs, ferry and Polruan bus stop. We rely on public transport and provided you plan ahead and access the bus timetables for the area, it's possible to get to lots of lovely places on foot or bus. Really good location. As with most seaside towns you have to park up a hill, away from the property but once parked there, there is plenty you can do without needing your car. The local bakery, cafe and two pubs are a great addition and the regular boat to Fowey for more amenities is great.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location is fantastic, with incredible views right outside of the front door. Lovely relaxing stay during a indian summer.. Daily commute on ferry to Fowey a highlight especially when collecting fudge from Roly's fudge factory. Great place to start walks from, Lantic Bay, Gribbin head and the walk to Fowey and back via Car ferry following a sunday lunch(Hall walk) are all recommended. The cottage was very comfortable and in a great position but like a lot of Cornish villages it was a nightmare getting near to drop off and pick up luggage not helped by trades continually blocking the access road but travel light and dump your car in the car park at the top of the village and enjoy the wonderful location

A gorgeous quaint little cottage, it is small but thats to be expected with this type of property, location was lovely, very close to the quay, gorgeous Fowey a very short ferry stop over the harbour, if you want a more secluded, non tourist like location then this is very likely it!
