Eden Project, Nr St. Austell - October Half Term 2017
This Half Term, the Eden Project is hosting a special Roald Dahl themed Halloween where adults and children will get to know the infamous villains from the legendary series of books. Favourite baddy characters such as The Witches, Fantastic Mr Fox, The Twits and Mrs Trunchball from Matilda will be the theme of a range of fun activities and events, and the ice rink will be open for extra fun.
Partygoers will love the Little Monsters’ Ball Halloween Disco (28th October 2017), and both children and adults will have the chance to dress up in their spookiest outfits and enjoy ice skating, acrobatics, and fire dancing entertainment.

Choose from a range of small and large pumpkins at Trevaskis Farm, to take home and carve out your favourite spooky faces or practice your finest art work ready for Halloween. When you’ve chosen your pumpkin, head to the restaurant for a delicious lunch or homemade cake, or walk around the Farm park and meet the friendly piglets, sheep, donkeys and Patch the pony.
Hayle – 27th October 2017
Dig out your spooktacular costumes and enjoy a night of music, dancing, food and fun at the Halloween Disco. There will be prizes for the best fancy dress, and plenty of fun to be had in the JungleBarn play area.
Throughout Half Term, there will also be a range of activities such as feeding times for the animals on the Fun Farm, the penguins and otters, and the vibrant lorikeets in the walk through Australian Aviary.
Nr Truro – 28th to 31st October 2017
Healey Cider Farm is a working cider farm where some of the country’s best apples and ciders are produced. The farm is hosting a weekend of Halloween activities such as apple carving competitions, tractor rides through haunted orchards, candle-lit tours through old dark cellars, and a fun trick or treat hunt throughout the farm.
Helston – 21st to 27th October 2017
Take a journey on a scary rollercoaster ride or go on the spooky pumpkin trail through the Victorian Village at Flambards this Half Term. The theme park will be hosting a series of events all week, such as circus workshops, creepy crawly shows, ghost stories and Ferdi the Fox with his friends onstage.
The skies will light up with a dazzling fireworks display on 25th October, and there will be a tribute Olly Murs act for musical entertainment.
