Taking place across the beautiful grounds of the Port Eliot Estate, this annual festival is a hit with locals and visitors from all over the world. Filled to the brim with fun activities, literature, music and gourmet food, this four-day event provides entertainment for all ages. You can go swimming in the estuary, watch cooking demonstrations in the Big Kitchen, go canoeing on the river, watch live music on the Park Stage, or take part in relaxing toga sessions.
This annual event celebrates everything great about the harbour town of Falmouth. Throughout the week, there’s live music, food stalls, sailing regattas, views from the Big Wheel, live music, competitions, and a spectacular show from the daring Red Arrows.
The harbour town of Fowey comes alive during this week as hundreds of boats take part in the annual sailing regatta. There is music on the quay, crab catching, boat races, food stalls, and a vibrant carnival parade through the town’s cobbled streets. One of the highlights of this event is a colourful aerial display from the Red Arrows.
Where better to watch your favourite film than outside under the setting sun or twinkling stars. This summer, there are a wide range of outdoor cinema screenings taking place in various destinations across Cornwall. Places that will be hosting some Hollywood hits include Dairyland near Newquay, Caerhays Beach near St Austell, Penlee Open Theatre in Penzance, and Truro Cattle Market.

Step into the Secret Gin Garden this summer and enjoy a refreshing gin-based drink and live jazz music in an open-air theatre surrounded by wildlife. There will be music from Swingology and the Paul Heyward Quartet, plus delicious gin tipples from Tarquins, the Little Gin Box, the Barbican Botanist and more.
The Rock Oyster Festival is a popular event for foodies, and this year the programme is full of workshops, yoga sessions, live music, and Cornwall’s finest food including local oysters. This year’s musical line-up includes Land of the Giants, The Electric Swing Circus, Blair, and Oll an Gwella.
As the schedule of summer events in Cornwall wind down, the Looe Music festival provides the perfect finale. This year, musical greats including Lulu, the Happy Mondays, and the Jesus and Mary Chain will be headlining on the main stage on the beach or the harbour. There will be also be hundreds of other artists such as The Correspondents, Echo Town, Falmouth Soul Sensation, The People’s String Foundation, Dalla and John Crampton.
Set in one of the most dramatic locations in the UK, this open-air amphitheatre is nestled into the granite cliffs in Porthcurno, providing perfect acoustics for plays and music performances. You can enjoy a variety of events this summer while enjoying the views of the Atlantic Ocean, you may even see Dolphins! Events include Twelfth Night, Treasure Island, Birdsong, La Traviata, Patience, and Proms at the Minack.
