It’s that time of year again when the theatre comes alive with the sound of music, laughter and pantomime antics. This year, the story of Jack and the Beanstalk will be told with the help of Cornwall’s very own Kernow King and the popular Granville Saxton, in a show that will entertain all of the family.
This bustling Christmas market will put you in the festive mood as you browse the many stalls selling local produce and handcrafted gifts, while Christmas tunes play in the background.
Wrap up warm, and walk around this charming village, where the Christmas lights twinkle on the waters of the harbour. Listen to the carol singers before dropping in at one of the local pubs for a festive tipple.
Held in a large marquee on the bustling piazza in Truro, the annual Victorian Market attracts visitors from near and far. Stall holders will dress in traditional Victorian costumes, and you can wander around, browsing the array of goods, from jewellery and clothes, to handmade gifts and delicious food, while festive music plays in the background.
Soak up the festive atmosphere and enjoy the peace brought by Christmas at the beautiful cathedral in Truro. There will be traditional carols sung by choirs and a service that celebrates the joy and significance of this festive period.
