New for winter 2017 a Log burner has been installed giving an extra cosy feel for the autumn or winter months.
You can get a real sense of the history of this village as you make your way to Well Court, the narrow streets and cobbled steps lead you to this traditional fisherman's cottage offering a cosy retreat. Well Court has been refurbished keeping many of the original decorative features. The entrance to the cottage is via a raised terrace that gives some privacy and an opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the view.
Features include central heating and broadband, so you can be warm, comfortable and still in touch with home or work whilst enjoying this idyllic setting.
Dining room: From the lounge you can step into the dining room, a great space to enjoy some of the special local produce. Dining table with seating for 6.
Lounge: Relaxing in the lounge with its original beamed ceiling, taking in the river view can be warm and comfortable even in the worst of the weather thanks to the log burner and oil central heating, TV, DVD, and WIFI.
Kitchen: Well equipped kitchen featuring classically styled fitted kitchen including a Belfast sink, electric hob/oven, microwave and dishwasher.
Bedroom 1: A double bedroom with river views, bedside tables, wardrobe and dressing table.
Bedroom 2: A single bed with a full-size trundle bed which can make the room into a twin. Bed side table, chest of drawers and small wardrobe.
Bathroom: A large family bathroom with w/c, hand basin, bath with shower over and heated towel rail.
GARDEN AND OUTSIDE SPACE- A small court yard at the back of the property and a fabulous raised Garden Terrace with uninterrupted views of the river and over to Fowey is situated a short distance from the property. Along with the new garden terrace there is also a table and chairs at the front of the property. Both will give you endless entertainment looking at the comings and goings along the river. There is also a very useful basement which will make an ideal secure storage area for fishing/boating equipment.
PARKING- No Private Parking available. Parking is available from the St Saviours and Quay car parks. Weekly tickets can be purchased for both car parks for £25.00.
CHANGEOVER DAY: Saturday- Arrival 4pm Departure 10am - although out of the main season this can be flexible.
