Ideally located in the village of Fowey with pubs, restaurants and sandy beach at Ready Money Cove. From the quay in Fowey you can hire a historic 1940’s boat, take a steamboat river trip or just relax at one of the waterfront pubs or cafes. Take a trip over to the seaside village of Polruan or a little further afield visit Mevigissey on the small ferry, an attractive old town with galleries, cafes, pubs and working harbour. For the walkers amongst you there are countless beaches and coastal paths, all within easy reach.

Stepping inside the property you will find the lounge with comfortable seating, wood burner and TV/DVD, the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. From here step through to the stylish open-plan kitchen/diner, a great social space to prepare and enjoy a family meal, well-equipped with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee machine. Enjoy your meal around the dining table with seating for six , whilst the Bose sound system plays your favourite tunes. Adjoining the kitchen is a utility area with washing machine and tumble drier. Heading upstairs to the first floor you will find the first of the two bedrooms. The first is a king-size with views across the town, down to the riverside, the second is the spacious twin. Completing this floor is the stylish bathroom with shower over bath and WC with views of Fowey . Heading upstairs to the second floor, completing the accommodation, you will find a further king-size bedroom with TV and en-suite shower room with shower and WC.

Heading outside from the kitchen you will find a small terrace area that runs along the back of the cottage with views across the town towards the church and river  perfect for enjoying your morning coffee.

  • Fowey is a quaint town situated on a steep hill, so access to some parts of the town can be challenging.

  • There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Fowey do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark near the top of the town

Jorick cottage is extra comfortable, well appointed and perfectly located for a wonderful holiday in Fowey. It's a very short and convenient walk to the harbour, beach, pubs and restaurants, shops and bakeries. The cottage has a spectacular view over the castle, harbour and church, which makes the balcony a lovely place to sit. The house was in a good position for town and beach. Suitable for four adults and two young children.Nice bedroom tucked away in the roof space suitable for Grandparents.We had a fantastic time here.

I would definitely recommend this property. Everything about this property was perfect. Its above and beyond excellent in every aspect. Location wise, it sits at the top of a road which is on a slight gradient. For me this was not an issue. It is approx 3 minutes from the town and harbour. Beautiful view of the church and harbour to the rear. Jo anRead mored Shelley were on hand to help if needed although none required. All in all a very pleasant experience and hop[e to return later in the year. Hide
