This lovely, stone built cottage is an old favourite, 1 Elm has been delightfully refurbished in recent years, retaining much of its original charm and character. A comfortable and cosy cottage decorated with a seaside style, having views from every room across the Fowey River. At the harbour edge the cottage overlooks Tom's working boat yard, it is a short level stroll from the centre of the village, the Coal Wharf and The Quay.
Lounge: The snug sitting room, is a relaxing space with books, games, TV and DVD for entertainment; or spend the time sitting in the window seat just gazing across the river.
Dining room: The separate dining room with seating for 5, also has a couch and a wood burner stove.
Kitchen: The dining room leads into the kitchen with its slopped wooden ceiling and shaker style fitted units. Even when doing the washing up you have a river view.
Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with window facing the river.
Bedroom 2: A twin double bedroom ideal for children. Views of the river.
Bathroom: A shower room with walk in shower, w/c and hand basin.
GARDEN AND OUTSIDE SPACE- river facing patio area with table and chairs.
PARKING- No Private Parking available. Parking is available from the St Saviours and Quay car parks. Weekly tickets can be purchased for both car parks for £25.00. It is possible to load and unload by the property in East Street. Once here you are within easy reach of the coast path, beach, pubs, shops and passenger ferry to Fowey
CHANGEOVER DAY:Flexible changeover day but Friday preferred in the school holidays.

POWER AND HEATING- Electricity and Heating included in the rental price. The heating of night storage radiators is backed up by the wood burner and an electric feature fire.
PET FRIENDLY- YES, one small dog is accepted with prior permission. £25 per dog per booking.
BEDDING AND TOWELS- Bed linen and towels are provided. You will need to bring your own beach towels.
The accommodation features a curving narrow staircase which is not suitable for the less mobile.
