There is an outhaul for a
dinghy during the summer, with access via stone steps from the end of the
garden.
This has to be the ideal spot from which to enjoy the grandstand views
of the ever changing river scene with all of the principle rooms having
outstanding river views.
The Little Hous
e sleeping up to 5 people has a very
comfortable, cosy sitting room, an attractive dining room and downstairs a
modernised, well equipped kitchen/parlour with an oil fired Aga giving a warm
ambience and supplying hot water.
Off a passage, once the stable (look for the original cobbles and arched entrance) there is now a modern shower cubicle and storage areas.
The back door leads into a mature garden which runs right to the sea wall and a secluded sitting area where the panorama of the Fowey Estuary unfolds in front of you.
Upstairs the master bedroom has magnificent views as
does the twin room, and the bathroom with it's pretty little Edwardian cast iron
bath overlooks the river too!
There is a further single bedroom. A rare opportunity to have a property on the Esplanade, close to the shops and a short walk to the beach and offering quality accommodation. For the discerning.
Sleeps 5, (1 double, 1 twin, 1 single). Unfortunately no children under 8 years due to water access. Night stores and open coal fire. TV, cooker, Aga, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine. Incoming telephone. Dinghy mooring Easter to end of September only. Bed linen included. FRI/FRI. No pets. No Smoking. Security deposit required.
