Chapel Ruins Holiday
Cottage Polruan is a charming and spacious stone-built cottage on three
floors with panoramic views of the harbour from the top floor and close
to the water.
There is a double and a
single bedroom and modern bathroom on the ground floor, which has its
own entrance.
The entrance to the
middle floor is from street level. A large open plan room, full of
light, with windows on all four aspects and a partial view; it
accommodates the kitchen, dining and sitting areas. The sitting area can
double as a third bedroom with adjoining small washroom and loo.
The kitchen, in beautiful
light oak, includes a microwave, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and
tumble dryer. There is a coal-burning stove on the middle floor for the
pleasure of it, as the cottage has full oil-fired central heating and is
therefore suitable for occupation throughout the year.
The top floor with
glorious views is a spacious, very comfortable double-aspect sitting
room, with a large dormer window looking out over the bay, where you can
sit and contemplate or watch the constant activity on the river.
The cottage has been completely refurbished with
wooden floors throughout, all new furniture, goose down and feather bedding and
designer curtains and blinds. A very comfortable retreat and much used second
home, full of books, paintings, plants and music.
The wooden floors and open staircase make the property unsuitable for pets and
children under ten.

with wi-fi. Telephone available by arrangement.
Sleeps 3/5 (1 double room , 1 single room and a double futon in living
room ) Bed linen included. TV / Freeview / video. Microwave, fridge, hob and oven, auto washing
machine, tumble dryer. Oil fired central heating, and multi fuel stove.
No Pets. No stiletto heels please. No children under 10. Babies under
6 months accepted. SAT/SAT. Security deposit required.
